After a three-week hiatus, Saturday Night Live returned last night with former cast member Tina Fey as the host. The six-months-pregnant funny lady used her current condition to bring the laughs in her opening monologue. And fellow mom-to-be Maya Rudolph helped Fey perform an ode to their unborn children.
Starting off slow and sincere, the ladies sang that they "couldn't wait to know" their unborn children, before picking up the tempo and going into a raunchy tale of how they became pregnant.
What's so great about the 30 Rock star is that, despite being an uber-celebrity, she comes off as someone who could actually be our best friend. (Our really, really funny best friend!) And nobody says what everyone's thinking better than Fey, which is why she's got the no. 1 book in the country, Bossypants. The memoir really has us believing that Tina is just like us -- only funnier.
