Penelope Cruz has told Jimmy Kimmel funny stories about Johnny Depp's "potty humor," but it seems like the new mom has returned the favor with teaching her Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides costar Spanish of the unprintable variety.
At a recent press conference, the actor jokes that he and Cruz -- who'd starred together before in 2001's drama Blow -- really "clicked" and "she taught me the raunchiest Spanish. It was so foul."
Depp also says that the fourth installment in the worldwide blockbuster film series (which hits theaters on May 20) will revert to the loony charm of the original. In this week's Entertainment Weekly cover story, Depp -- a.k.a. flamboyant pirate Capt. Jack Sparrow -- explains about the sequels: "They had to invent a trilogy out of nowhere. It was plot-driven and complicated." This time around, "I felt like it was important to eliminate as many complications as possible," he tells the magazine.
And Depp joked: "I have a clever idea for
Pirates5 and 6. We're actually going to shoot it on the ride. Just us going around in a circle. Just close ups on everyone."
The actor made one group of fans extremely happy when he made an appearance on The Oprah Winfrey Show on Thursday and surprised the entire studio audience with tickets to the film.
